Single‐Family Residents – Should staff have any questions about your application, they will call the number you have provided on the form for further clarification before starting your utility services; otherwise, services will commence on the start date requested. If there are questions and we are unable to reach you, your utility services will start at the requested date. However, the service level for garbage and recycling will default to the service level of the previous occupant. In this situation, adjustments to the service level can be made by contacting us at 408-730‐7400.

Single‐Family + ADU/Multi‐Family/Commercial – For these categories of accounts, you will need to speak with a customer service representative to finalize your account details. A City staff member will contact you within 5 business days. If you have not heard from us by the 5th business day, it would be because we were unable to reach you. In this situation, call us at 408-730‐7400.

Utilities Division business hours are Monday – Friday, from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., except for holidays.
